CCHRI is delighted to announce a new publication, edited by Adam Izdebski, John Haldon, and Piotr Filipkowski. It is entitled Perspectives on Public Policy in Societal-Environmental Crises: What the Future Needs from History.

This collection of essays on resilient responses to risk and crisis in the past grew out of our seminar series “Past Answers to Current Concerns: Approaches to Understanding Historical Societal Resilience," and another series presented by the Max-Planck-Institute for the Science of Human History.

The volume is historically wide-ranging, practically-oriented, interdisciplinary, and open access.
